It was Fiesta-time at The Shed-venue at Riverside Events on Saturday night when family member of the owners,Leslie Holmes,celebrated his 21st birthday by receiving the proverbial key to adulthood from his mother Yvonne Holmes and grandfather Leslie Holmes who made a celebratory speech to the party goers in Mexican sombreros and poncho's. Riverside Events has launched a It's a Celebration! Promotion with packages available at Riverside Farm close to Franschhoek for the hiring of venues for weddings and functions - these two venues are for clients who want to self cater for their functions - the Riverside Kitchen would be available for these functions for catering:
The Shed @ Riverside : R21 000 – Package made up of:
• R3 000 Refundable deposit (Breakage)
• R18 000 for venue which includes use of the kitchen
• Public holidays: Add R2 000 to the venue price
* Can accommodate 120-150 guests seated

The Marquee Tent @ Riverside: R11 500 – Package made up of:
• R3 000 Refundable deposit (Breakage)
• R8 500 for venue which includes use of kitchen
• Public holidays: Add R2 000 to the venue price
* Can accommodate 100-120 people seated

Our venues are situated on the Riverside Farm which is next to the Berg River Bridge on the R45, 20 minutes from Franschhoek, an hour from Cape Town and 20 minutes from Stellenbosch and Paarl. We have ample parking.

Please mail or phone us for more info on bar services, event organising, setting up, waitering, and everything else that will make your function a true celebration. Terms and conditions as well as our contract for making use of our services are available on request.
