Nhlanhla “Lux” Dlamini has spoken out against calls for foreign nationals renting properties in Soweto to be forced out, arguing that such actions could ultimately hurt South African homeowners and their families who depend on rental income to survive.

Lux questioned what would happen to families who rely on money generated from rental properties to pay school fees, buy groceries, cover household expenses and support their children.

He argued that property owners should have the right to decide who rents their legally owned properties, provided that tenants and landlords comply with South African laws and rental regulations.

His comments come amid growing tensions surrounding immigration, foreign-owned businesses and the demands being made by the March and March movement.

Lux also launched a strong criticism of the movement, accusing some of its organisers of behaving more like “extortionists” than community activists. He argued that residents and business owners should not be threatened or pressured into decisions that could negatively affect their livelihoods.

Mkhwanazi Uses Nando’s Chicken Bones to Make African Bone Necklace for Luck

JOHANNESBURG — Julius Mkhwanazi has reportedly discovered a new strategy for improving his luck, and it involves something he apparently understands very well: Nando’s chicken.

Following his latest brush with the law, Mkhwanazi allegedly decided that ordinary lucky charms were no longer powerful enough and began collecting chicken bones from his Nando’s meals to make himself an African-style bone necklace.

According to sources who absolutely did not witness any of this, Mkhwanazi became convinced that the bones could protect him from bad luck, court appearances and possibly police officers.

“He said he needed something stronger than a four-leaf clover,” said one imaginary friend. “Apparently, every time he sees a police vehicle, he needs spiritual assistance.”

From takeaway leftovers to traditional jewellery

Mkhwanazi allegedly began saving the bones after meals, carefully washing them before threading them onto a piece of string.

His first necklace reportedly contained three chicken wings, two drumstick bones and what witnesses described as “one suspicious-looking piece that nobody could identify.”

He reportedly wore the necklace proudly, claiming that it was not just jewellery.

“It is protection,” he allegedly explained. “You cannot arrest a man who has finished his chicken.”

Nando’s reportedly concerned

Sources close to the imaginary Nando’s headquarters said the restaurant was initially confused when Mkhwanazi started requesting extra serviettes and asking whether the bones were “spiritually charged.”

“We thought he wanted extra sauce,” one fictional employee said.

“Then he started putting the bones in his pocket. We knew something unusual was happening.”

The restaurant has reportedly refused to confirm whether its chicken bones possess any supernatural properties.
