Only Specials Café’s move to 14 Aberdeen Street has sparked a lively lifestyle hub combining a café, gallery, antique shop and garden landscaping, all set in a restored historic house and shaded old garden. The collaboration supports local arts, training for intellectually disabled school leavers and unique retail offerings from Lokaal, Park99 and Lloyd & Company, while preserving wildlife like chameleons and an eagle owl. Regular events like First Fridays and garden braais aim to reinvigorate Aberdeen Street’s community vibe.
