Shangri-La is this weeks Feature Friday π₯
Phillipe started trading at the Market in 2010 and this is what he had to say:
"About 12 year's ago, I was invited to come to Shongweni Market. I decided to join their Christmas Market, under a big marque and it was a great decision. I remember we could not have more than a 2 meter table, very tight π but we did very well. So on that day we said let's say goodbye to other markets and lets give a try to Shongweni Market πππ»
That was 12 year's ago, we started trading under gazebo, and then we were moved to a corner stall. We have so many stories to tell about the bad weather, people getting stuck in the mud π, but people were still supporting the traders, with gum boots, umbrella's and that is the character of Shongweni Farmers Market. Rain or sunshine I am there π
Since the new move, its been amazingly busy, I am very grateful as it works very well. My stand is all ways busy and it is a special family market" ππ»ππ
Phillipe sells a wide range of Nepalese and Local clothing, craft, accessories as well as Sterling Silver jewellery. Come and down and say π to Phillipe at Stall No K18 π₯
