Description
The Dead Stick Baits Brawler Bug 4″ is a versatile creature-style soft plastic built for anglers who want a substantial profile, plenty of movement and multiple rigging options for targeting bass.
Its deeply ribbed body creates added texture and water displacement, while the multiple appendages give the Brawler Bug a lively, craw-inspired profile. The large outer claws are designed to provide movement as the bait falls, swims or is worked along the bottom, helping the bait attract attention around structure and cover.
This style of ribbed creature bait is particularly well suited to Texas rigging, flipping and pitching, while similar designs are also widely used on Carolina rigs and as jig trailers. Ribbed bodies and prominent claws or flappers are commonly used to increase water displacement and action while maintaining a cover-friendly profile.
At 4 inches, the Brawler Bug offers enough bulk to create a noticeable presence without becoming excessively large. Fish it around vegetation, timber, laydowns, rocks and other bass-holding structure, or drag it along the bottom when searching for feeding fish.
