EDIBLE FLOWERS
I have so many people asking for edible flowers. Yes Many flowers are edible and add unique flavors and vibrant colors to salads, desserts, and drinks, including staples like nasturtiums (peppery), pansies (grassy), lavender (floral), roses (sweet), and calendula.

Common choices for culinary use include violets, honeysuckle, borage, squash blossoms, and chive flowers.

I will run a line off flowers , Starting later this week with seedlings and then growing them on in bigger pots.

Common Edible Flowers & Their Uses

Nasturtium: Peppery taste, excellent in salads, both leaves and flowers are edible.
Pansies/Viola: Mild, grassy flavor; great for decorating cakes or in salads.
Lavender: Floral notes suitable for tea, lemonade, and baking.
Roses: Sweet, unique scent. Best to use heirloom varieties for better flavor.
Squash/Zucchini Blossoms: Often used in savory dishes, including stuffing or frying.
Daylily: Young buds can be fried; flowers are sweet.

Herb Flowers: Chive, basil, rosemary, and thyme flowers offer a mild version of their leaves' flavors.
Calendula: Petals offer a peppery, spicy flavor, often called "poor man's saffron".
