Y’all see a R250 custom shirt and start doing Shein/Temu clothing math. 😭
R250 a shirt 😳 I can buy a shirt for R99

Then go buy the R99 shirt. 😂
Nobody is stopping you.
The door is wide open. 🚪🤣
But PLEASE stop comparing a small business making ONE custom shirt for you to a corporation producing thousands of shirts at once.
Because baby… that math ain’t mathing. 😂
You’re not paying R250 for “just a shirt.”
You’re paying for:
✨ The blank shirt
✨ The design
✨ DTF transfer
✨ Supplies
✨ Equipment
✨ Electricity
✨ Software
✨ Packaging
✨ My TIME
✨ My LABOR
✨ My SKILL
✨ My CREATIVITY
✨ My EXPERIENCE
And the convenience of sending me a picture, saying “I want this on a shirt” and magically receiving the finished product without having to figure out how to make it yourself. 😂
I answer the messages.
I make the mockup.
I prepare the design.
I press the shirt.
I check the shirt.
I package the shirt.
I handle the order.
And somehow the part that gets questioned is my R250. 😭😂
Meanwhile, some of you will spend R250 on 2 drinks you finish in maybe an hour nobody needs to know about the ingredients, labor, rent, electricity, or profit margin. 💀
But a small business owner says R250 and suddenly everybody becomes an accountant. 😂📊
PLEASE.
Affordable does NOT mean underpriced.
And I refuse to compete with Shein, Temu, or somebody selling shirts so cheap they’re basically donating their labor. 😂
I know what my products cost me.
I know how long they take.
I know what my time is worth.
And I’m not working for free just because somebody else decided they wanted to.
Custom work has VALUE.
So if my price isn’t for you?
That’s okay. ❤️
But you don’t have to announce your departure like you’re leaving a group chat. 😂
