The Great Pretender. The octopus is known as the master of disappearance, the shapeshifter of the sea, with the ability to seemingly dissolve into rock, sand and shadow, often underestimated and easily overlooked.

This beautifully fluid piece, sculpted from reclaimed steel and flooded with unapologetically bold colour, demands to be noticed. Rather than mimicking the camouflage they’re known for in nature, the artist celebrates the dramatic beauty and wonder of these wonderful creatures in joyful technicolour.
