We are in the process of developing our own boilies and wafters. Watch this space... So where does Oudendag Dips come from? It’s a very strange name indeed, yet striking. Something like McDonalds. If I may take words from one of McDonalds co-founders: “It’s not just the system, Dick. It’s the name.”
Same with Oudendag Dips, it’s in the name. It came about a question my young son asked me one day
on a fishing trip: “Pappa, wat het julle in die Oudendae gebruik om vis te vang” Directly translated: Dad, what did you guys use to catch fish with in the olden days? Easy my son, plain maize, earthworms, custard dough and curry dough. So I’ve decided to go back to “basics”. I’ve contact my good friend Victor Booysen to help me develop two fishing dips, Custard and Curry. And the rest is history. The birth of Oudendag dips. And our dips work. Hence our saying: “Fishing made easy...”
We’ve currently developed twenty different dips (so much for going with the basics), tiger nuts, maize, floaties and partical mix. We are extremely excited to share these products with you guys, so please give us a call if you want to test our products. You won’t be disappointed. Regards.
