SCAM ALERT
So on Friday morning I received a call from a guy called John supposedly from Feed My Lambs school.
Their supplier disappointed them and they urgently need a few Excursion packs am I able to assist blah blah blah
Long story short packs were done in 20 minutes and the driver was sent to collect but before they collected payment was made from a SO CALLED credit card.
30 minutes after that another batch was needed and payment was made same way and driver was sent to collect.
So because the payment was made from the credit card I supposed I would reflect a bit later or Monday since it was weekend. NOTHING
Saturday during the cause of the day I got blocked and my business partner reached out to him and he apologized saying he will check with accounts... shup
So Tuesday morning I decide to take a drive to the school to go and check if he's there... my people there was so such a person working at the school and not even at one of FMLs at all.
Turns out AS A SMALL BUSINESS we got scammed. He blocks and unlocks me all the time
Please please please be careful out there.
DO NOT accept cash send
Make sure the money reflects into your account before releasing goodies even if its last minute orders
Im not angry im just really disappointed that people can go to that extend for someone's downfall
