The Brazillian Mushroom Table by Frank Böhm

This concept piece is unique and sits at 30kg.

In the beginning, a specific concrete mould had to be made, for the Brazillian Mushroom Side Table. A high – density polymer concrete mix was used, and polished to a fine silky finish with clean, defined edges. The top is made from amid raw steel disc and spray painted, baked and polished in a car body shop.

It was part of the Front Row exhibition at this year’s Design Joburg.
