Heritage Weekend at Newtown Junction Mall was all about celebrating who we are, how we express ourselves and the community we create together. 🇿🇦❤️✨

Doek on Fleek brought together music, style, heritage and plenty of fun, while Braiding the New Way added something extra special to the celebration with Community Hair Heroes (volunteers) using their talents to braid confidence into our community, one braid at a time. 👑

From the incredible performances and beautiful braids to the energy, laughter and community spirit that filled the Piazza, it was a celebration with heart, heritage and a whole lot of flair.

A special thank you to everyone who came through, our Community Hair Heroes, BC Electronics Johannesburg, Bantu Kraal and Carol Glamour Hair Salon for being a vital role in making the day so memorable.
