For too long we in Africa have been operating under a neo-colonial and colonial economic models, selling our precious resources for a pittance to rich foreign powers, who process them into mediocre consumer products for us to buy at inflated prices. For the last 16 years based at Mezimbite Forest Center we have been building up our skills, reinforcing our own "give back what we receive culture", a

nd making a large variety of wonderful things that can sustain an all natural and healthy for you and the planet life. They have been used by UNCTAD to demonstrate best biodiversity development practice and have been seen in fine galleries like Kim Sacks, or Linhardt Designs in NY or the Aldrich Museum in Connecticut. Making sustainable forest products has incentivized and empowered us to take on the daunting task of reforesting the areas destroyed by unthinking exploitation. And they are available here in our first retail experience. The idea is that you can now choose to shop and consume in a reasonably sustainable way, because we produce in one. And because the product and the ingredients do not travel twice around the planet, you will discover that being green is a luxury of taste and thought, not the pocket.
