Premium American Street Wear Boutique
Amerikana was inspired by store creator and US national Tom Bacote. He noticed while living and working in Southern Africa that there were no retail outlets that specialize in selling authentic premium street-wear currently trending in the US. Amerikana believes the pulse of style is New York and Los Angeles. That is why Amerikana buys direct from hot brands
currently trending in both cities. Amerikana, is however committed to creating space for local street wear brands as well. Butan Wear, DJ Zinhle’s Era watches and bracelets, and other local brands are featured on the racks of Amerikana. Amerikana’s management is committed to not only providing the cutting edge in premium street wear to its markets, but is also as dedicated to keeping the price point per piece reasonable for customers. Whenever possible Amerikana will sell its apparel lower or comparable to stores that sell similar merchandise within the same market. Amerikana’s near-term goal is to be the leading seller of premium street-wear first in the Johannesburg, South Africa market then beyond. Long-term, Amerikana will focus on opening outlets in emerging markets, with a consumer base that has interest in urban and pop culture of the USA. How Amerikana plans to achieve that goal is to continue providing customers higher quality product currently trending in Los Angeles and New York, USA at prices competitive with the surrounding market-space. The guiding aim of Amerikana is to bridge the gap between the African Diaspora and America one piece at a time. That is why the two A’s in Amerikana are red. Signifying One Blood and the cultural bridge that has to be crossed to bring the diaspora back together. American Brands in stock:
