Ever wanted to make your own candles? Well now is your chance 🤍🕯️

Join us for a Candle Making Workshop with Jonathan from Jonathan’s Candles and spend the afternoon creating something beautiful with your own hands.

Firstly, thank you so much to everyone for your understanding when we had to postpone this workshop due to the planned power and water outages across parts of Johannesburg. We’re so grateful for your patience, and we’re excited to share that we now have a new date and can’t wait to welcome you for a wonderful afternoon of creativity and connection ✨

Jonathan is one of the incredible makers we’re so proud to work alongside at Joburg Sister. He creates handmade candles with so much care and creativity, from classic styles to the fun milkshake-inspired candles you may have already spotted on our page.

What we love most about Jonathan is the heart behind his work. Through his candle business, he’s been working hard to support himself and his gran, while continuing to grow his small business one candle at a time 🤍

For this special workshop, you’ll create your own candle set in recycled wine bottle bottoms, a unique and beautiful piece to take home and enjoy.

💰 R350 per person
🕯 Your candle will be made and set on the day, so you’ll leave with your finished creation.

Each candle is handmade with love and adds such a warm, cosy touch to any space, making them perfect for gifts, self-care evenings or simply lighting up your home.

We’re so excited for you all to spend time creating with Jonathan and getting to know the faces behind the brands we stock and support.

Friends, you know Jonathan, who has been supporting himself and his gran by getting work when he can, and selling home-made candles.

Well, Jonathan has a big dream: he’d love to study Early Childhood Development. In order to achieve this goal, we would love to help him sell some of his candles.
