HOW TO EXTEND YOUR BATTERY LIFE CONTINUED.....
-Kill Extra Apps
Multitasking--the ability to run more than one app at a time--is a powerful smartphone feature. It also burns a lot of energy. Sometimes you move from one app to another without realizing that the other apps are still running and draining your phone. For Android phones, there is an app called Advanced Task Killer, which has an auto-kill feature that polices your apps throughout the day. For iPhones and other iOS devices, double-tap the Home button until the multitasking tray appears, hold an icon until an X appears, and tap the X to close the app.
- Turn Off Unimportant Notifications
Whenever you get a notification about your Facebook friend commenting on a photo, or a notification from one of those game apps you have, a little bit of your phone’s energy is consumed. Turning off extraneous notifications will help your battery last longer and prevent distractions.
-. Turn Off Wi-Fi, 3G or Bluetooth When Not in Use
Energy is consumed whenever your smartphone searches for signal, Wi-Fi, 3G or Bluetooth. When reception is poor, your phone will continue scanning to attain a good connection. If you're getting below 10%, switch to ‘Airplane Mode’ or just switch your phone off when you know you can’t get any signal.
