In Loving Memory of Freda Haw

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Mom, Grannie and Great-Grannie, Freda Haw.

Freda was instrumental in the forming and establishment of Jo-Da Bonsai. What began with her love, vision and steady hands has grown into the family we are today.

She was a true lover of nature and animals, and that kindness rooted itself in everything she touched — from every tree to every person who knew her.

Her legacy lives on in every bonsai, every garden, and every life she nurtured.

We will miss her dearly. Our thoughts are with all who loved her.

Rest peacefully, Freda. 🌿

5 Mistakes Beginners Make:

1. Wrong environment - Temperate trees don't belong on your coffee table.
2. Watering on a schedule - Your tree doesn't know what day it is.
3. Bad soil that holds too much water.
4. Pruning every new shoot - Let it grow, it needs energy!
5. Doing too much at once - repot + hard prune + wire on same day = stress
