John Klemp Angling and Hunting was started in 1949 by Bob Klemp, shortly after being demobbed after the end of WW2. Bob's son John, after whom the business is now named, took over the business from his father. John’s son Rob later took over the business from his father. John Klemp Angling and Hunting is accordingly a three-generation business in operation for more than 60 years! Following in his father's footsteps, Rob obtained provincial colours as a clay-pigeon shottist. He consequently has a particular passion for wing-shooting. He is also a registered big-game PH, as well as being a qualified boat safety surveyor and skippers licence examiner. Services offered by Rob include hunting and wing shooting in the Kimberley area, fly-fishing and coarse-angling in the Vaal, fresh-water bream angling in the north, as well as deep-water angling on request.
