Despite suffering from Multiple Sclerosis - a degenerative disease which has rendered her paralysed from the neck down - Gilly retains a positive outlook on life. Hi to everyone, painted at Art in the Park at Mac Nut farm on Saturday-loved it! Would like to thank Sharyn and Hannah so very, very much for giving me the opportunity to paint and show my work. Huge thank you as well and to so many others for making me feel so welcome, for their kind words and encouragement. My heartfelt thanks to Jackie and Mervyn for taking me and ALL my stuff, and believe me, there is a lot of stuff I need to be able to paint! I was taken around to see all the other stalls. The paintings on show were absolutely amazing, so impressive and inspirational. They will definitely inspire me to keep on trying to improve.

Hi to everyone, painted at Crowhurst Flower Festival, was wonderful! Many thanks to June from Crowhurst for organising such a great site for us and huge thanks to Linda for taking me and for all her hard work. We were so busy, sold cards and bookmarks, met so many wonderful people-loved it! Festival was 28-30 March, in aid of the MS Society-thanks so much to everyone involved.

Hi to everyone, apologise for long silence-long story! Still busy painting, going to Ladies evening at Kloof Country Club Tuesday 18th, 18h00. Will be painting and selling my cards and bookmarks there-would be wonderful to see as many of you as possible.

Fundraising High Tea event organised for me on Saturday 23November. Held at Crowhurst in Kloof, beautiful old castle in wonderful gardens. So well organised by Olivia Reynolds, so many prizes donated by so many kind people. Such a fun presentation given by Image Consultant Jenny Kaye-she taught us all a thing or two! Venue donated and so much help given by June Latter from Crowhurst. Tables groaning under amazing selection of yummies, both sweet and savoury. Many, many thanks to everyone involved-appreciate it all so very much.

Market at St Agnes church was wonderful-enjoyed it so much. Was so well organised, lots of stalls, lovely music, lovely vibe, so festive and such fun. Wonderful to meet so many new people. Well done to everyone involved.

Getting ready for next market-Christmas Market at St Agnes church, 09November. Christmas cards and tags will be available. Huge thank you to those wonderful, special friends who helped with adding envelopes to cards and putting into plastic bags as well as tying cord to tags. Without your help going to markets just wouldn't be possible-sincere thanks from the bottom of my heart! Hope to see lots of you on the 09November!

Raining and little chilly-change is pleasant and we need the rain. Bible study yesterday-love it, always feel better afterwards-sort of lighter, if that makes any sense! Now start every day with 'God give me the peace of mind, the strength and courage to face each day'. Thanks Moss.

Friday so Bible study again-Moss and Carol brought their gorgeous little dog Lambie to play with Scruffy, Trish's lovely Cairn terrier and also her shadow, so good how they play together and, for the most part, stay out of trouble! Said special prayer for wonderful friend and resident-her eyes troubling her again. So upset for her-after 2 ops thought they were getting better. All we can do is leave it in His hands. Liked what Trish said, "let go, let God".Our prayers to you God.
