*Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Seamstress to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of industrial sewing techniques, particularly in the context of marine canvas products. You will be responsible for sewing and assembling high-quality marine canvas products, ensuring that they meet our rigorous standards for durability and precision.
*Key Responsibilities
- Operate industrial sewing machines to produce marine canvas products including covers, bimini tops, enclosures, and other custom items.
- Interpret and follow design patterns and specifications accurately.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality control standards.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor machine issues.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements
- Experience: Proven experience as an industrial seamstress, preferably with heavy-duty fabrics.
- Skills: Proficiency in operating industrial sewing machines and knowledge of sewing techniques specific to heavy-duty fabrics.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on quality and precision.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical Stamina: Capacity to perform repetitive tasks and handle large pieces of fabric.
