I Hear His Whisper...
Worry is a waste of energy.
Let your heart take hope today in the stream of my living love. Come lay down your cares at my feet. Let me lift the burdens that have been weighing you down. Sit and feast at my table of plenty. Eat of my tender kindness that breaks down the strongest defenses. Drink of my mercy that satisfies every lack and clears out all shame. Partake of my power that infuses you with energy and passion to accomplish all that you hope and dream.

There is no need to keep a running account of possibilities that may or may not happen in your life or in the lives of those you love. I am already aware of every eventuality, and I will supply you with all you need for every moment. Why rely on your limited resources when you have access to a boundless reserve? Be partnered with me, and you will never need to be dependent on your ability alone. I am able to do far more than you could ever imagine. Fear will not overtake you, for my love already has. Trust me!

Follow me out of this prison.

Beloved, the enemy has held you in bo***ge long enough. You have been through fire, but now is the time for refreshing rain. Though at times you barely held on to hope, you sought me with all you had. I saw it all. And behind the scenes, I was working on your behalf, though you couldn’t see it. What felt like loss will be turned into victory.

The prison doors are flinging wide. Follow me out. Don’t allow the past to define you. Throw off those grave clothes and wrap yourself in garments of glorious praise. Don’t hold on to unforgiveness. Surrender your right to hold a grudge. I will rewrite your history and give you a new story—a story of provision, a story of joy, a story of healing. The enemy has tried to insert false chapters of delay and hopelessness into your story, but he has been stopped. As you look to me with expectation and see the breakthrough with eyes of faith, I will come. I will lead the way out of this season and into the one I have promised you.

I Hear His Whisper...

I see it all.

Beloved, I see you clearly just as you are. I see the circumstances that are outside of your control and the troubles knocking at your door. I see the way your heart is overwhelmed. Do not despair and don’t lose hope. I am always close. I will bring you through this; you can count on me. When you are afraid, put your hope in me, and when you struggle to hope, look outside of your own experience to the fulfilled promises of my people.

I won’t let the weight of the unknown crush you. I am not disinterested in your plight, my daughter. I will meet your needs. Look at the way that I have come through time and again. I have not suddenly turned my gaze from my people. When the waters rise around you, I am your high place—your security in the storm. Worry won’t help you. Whatever it is that threatens your peace, give it to me. I will surround you with the blanket of my perfect peace, wrapping you up in the comfort of my love. Come in close and rest in my steadiness. I am for you, and I will work all things together with redemptive love for your benefit.

Lift your attention to my love.

Fasten yourself to eternity and remain there. Don’t lower your gaze to your situations. Every time the enemy throws a situation in your face that stirs your anxiety, resist him. Choose to lift your attention to my love, my faithfulness, and my goodness. I know you’re trying to stay at peace. I hear your cry for my help; I’ve already given it to you.

Beloved, I’m not only with you, I’m alive inside of you. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, heavy, and stressed, it’s not because you don’t have the ability to shake it off. It’s because you haven’t fully released this problem to me. You’re not totally trusting me yet. You know me. You know my love. You know I’m all powerful. But you’re believing the lie that I won’t come through. You’re believing that weight is too much for you, more than you believe that I will carry the burden for you. I know it’s been a long time of waiting, but you don’t see the whole picture. The days will pass anyway, so instead of spending them in worry, spend them getting to know me better. Spend them enjoying every ounce of good that the day gives you.

My Word is a sharp sword.

As you use the Word as your weapon, you learn to wield the power of my Spirit. There is no need to rely on your own abilities and strengths when you have mine within reach. When you don’t know what to do, dig into the wisdom of my Word. Remind yourself of my promises by writing them on the tablet of your heart. Keep them at hand where you can easily stir them up, for they are living and active.

As you ingest the insights I give, you will grow in confidence to wage war against the temporal temptations you face. The sword of my Spirit cuts down every lie of the enemy. It is sharp enough to separate flesh from bone; it is a powerful tool in the hands of my beloved ones. Keep my living Word stirring in your heart and at the forefront of your thoughts. It is the best weapon you have to take down the inventions of the enemy in every situation. Be ready to speak my truth at all times because it will save you from needless arguments and dead-end doubts. And keep praying, for it sharpens your sword-wielding skills.

I Hear His Whisper…

Receive your new prayer life.

You’ve been crying out, wanting to know how to pray with the wisdom and accuracy of my Spirit. I have heard your cries and will lead you in new and exciting ways. The areas that you’ve struggled over—the ones that the enemy wants you to believe I haven’t heard or seen—will become areas of great strength.

There is no special formula to prayer. There is no right or wrong way. All I seek is a heart that longs to walk in agreement with my truth, a heart that rejoices and believes. Because you’ve been stirred to ask me for greater clarity in prayer, I am releasing it to you. You don’t have to strive to earn it or search to find it. I am giving it to you now. Simply receive. Now, as you go into prayer, listen for the voice of peace and declare with quiet confidence what you hear. It is in the stillness of your heart that you hear me.
