Remember to l**e those chains this weekend!

Here are some top tips from Stefan Botha:
1. You need to have a clean and dry chain before applying l**e
2. Apply the l**e to the rollers, not the whole chain
3. Always wipe off any excess
4. Plan ahead and l**e your chain the night before to let it set

This is what it looked like when we took of the bandages. Stef's Boer maak n Plan job held up and Surprisingly it kept pressure for 3 days😅.

If you don't know what happened... In short, Stefan's wheel started to bulge on a long ride out and he had to make a plan to get home. Cable ties and isolation tape did the job👌🏽

Stefan knew his tires where getting old but decided to take a chance and it bit him in the bum!

It can look very deceiving, so always make sure your tires are not perished, they could still have a lot of thread left but the rubber itself starts to perish, so don't just look at the threads.
