Sometimes it's good to step away from the papers, put the scissors aside, and simply play with paint, texture and stamps. These little abstract pieces were just that - a relaxing break from retreat preparations and designer projects.

Lorraine Haddath created this She Blooms Boldly Memory Journal with the ROSEY collection. Some memories deserve more than a photograph…they deserve a place to live.

Lorraine created this journal as a companion piece to her “Timeless Beauty” layout, celebrating beautiful memories of her mom. She wanted to create something to record the stories, little moments that photographs cannot capture. The stunning papers and elements from this collection were perfect for this project. Lorraine has layered patterns, textures and florals to create a cover that feels both vintage and feminine, while the “Own Your Story” sentiment is perfect for a memory journal. Tip: The vellum frame was made using a piece of tracing paper, embossed and lines drawn using a gel pen – great idea if you don’t have any decorative vellum on hand.

A journal to remember, to treasure and to tell her story.
