The Heart Behind the Label
Hello lovely faces, I'm Lauren 😊
Since the community here is growing, I though it was the perfect time to reintroduce myself and share a bit more of the story behind Dandelion The Label.
Dandelion The Label was born out of a deep love for the slow, intentional process of creating beautiful things, so I packed in the corporate world, moved from Port Elizabeth to Montagu and started creating full time. From custom crocheted mats and bathmats to quirky baskets, every single piece is dreamed up, designed and handmade right here at my home studio in Montagu.
To me, dandelions represent resilience, joy and blooming exactly where you are and that's the exact energy I try to stitch into everything I make.
But a big part of this journey is also about celebrating incredible craftsmanship and community, that's why I am absolutely thrilled to partner with Vygie Shoes & Leather Apparel stocking and selling their beautiful high-quality Vygie shoes, right alongside my own creations.
When I’m not surrounded by yarn or working on new designs, you can usually find me tending to my garden, riding my bike, walking the dogs, enjoying time in nature or catching up with neighbors at the local markets.
