🌿 Three Years Later… This Garden Speaks for Itself

There’s something special about returning to a garden years after the last plant went into the ground. 🌿

Three years later, this garden in Pinnacle Point has truly grown into its own.

The planting has filled out beautifully, creating layers of colour, texture and shape throughout the property. Established aloes, succulents, shrubs and flowering plants now flow together naturally, while the curved garden borders and lawn give the space structure and balance.

And this is exactly what a thoughtfully planned garden should do - become more beautiful as it matures.

From Overgrown to Open & Beautiful 🌿✨

What a difference a thoughtful garden makeover can make! 🌿

This transformation was all about opening up the space, creating definition and bringing new life to the garden, while retaining established trees and plants that could form part of the refreshed landscape.

The Danabaai Kwekery & Tuinuitleg team cleared and reshaped the garden, introduced new planting and created defined garden beds, neat edging and stepping areas to give the space structure and flow.

The result is a garden that feels lighter, more open and beautifully put together, with plenty of room for the new planting to establish, grow and fill out over time. 🌱

🌿 Project Showcase | Part 2 – Backyard Transformation

Where great design comes to life.

Last week we shared the transformation of the front entrance garden. Today, we're taking you beyond the entrance to reveal the backyard - where this landscape project truly comes into its own.

Completed three years ago at Pinnacle Point, these photos showcase how a thoughtfully designed landscape continues to mature and thrive over time.

This outdoor space was created from the ground up, with every element carefully considered. The staircase from the front entrance leads into a beautifully landscaped backyard featuring water-wise planting, natural stone, and a custom putting green that blends seamlessly into the surrounding garden.

Every retaining wall, staircase, planting bed, and finishing detail was designed to create a space that is as practical as it is beautiful - one that complements the home's architecture while inviting its owners to slow down, relax, and enjoy the outdoors.

This project is a reminder that great landscaping isn't just about how a garden looks when it's finished. It's about creating outdoor spaces that continue to grow in beauty and character for years to come.

🌿 Project Showcase | Part 1 – Front Entrance Garden Transformation

Some landscapes become even more beautiful with time.

These photos were taken three years after this project was completed at Pinnacle Point, and they beautifully show how thoughtful design, quality workmanship, and carefully selected plants create a landscape that continues to thrive.

What began as a raw, undeveloped site was transformed from the ground up. From constructing substantial retaining walls for structural support to creating the front entrance garden, pathways, and staircase leading to the backyard, every element was carefully designed to complement the home's modern architecture.

Today, the plants have matured, the textures have softened, and the landscape has grown into exactly what it was intended to become - a welcoming entrance that feels as though it has always belonged there.

At Dana Bay Nursery & Landscaping, we don't just create gardens for today - we create landscapes designed to be enjoyed for years to come.
