✨ Day One at Our Women’s Day Event ✨
What a beautiful way to begin our Women’s Day weekend! 🖤🤍
Day One was filled with creativity, inspiration, laughter and friendship as our delegates settled in and allowed themselves to simply enjoy the creative journey.
Our talented designer, Mare-Liez de Jongh inspired everyone with two beautiful projects:
🌸 Double Page Layout
A gorgeous floral layout filled with layers, colour, texture and beautiful details — giving everyone the opportunity to create a meaningful scrapbook spread while learning new techniques.
🎨 Art Journal Page
The afternoon brought a completely different creative experience. Mare-Liez encouraged the ladies to play, experiment and express themselves through colour, texture, stamping, journaling and mixed-media techniques.
But the real magic was watching 50 ladies take these designs and make them their own. No two projects are ever exactly alike, because every scrapbooker adds a little piece of herself to what she creates. ❤️
A huge thank you to Mare-Liez for sharing her creativity, knowledge and passion with us and for inspiring our delegates to step outside their comfort zones and just create.
And to all our ladies — thank you for making Day One so special! The room was filled with creativity, conversation and the wonderful sound of women enjoying something they love.
Day One was more than two projects… it was the beginning of memories that will be treasured for years to come. 🌿✨
