Vacancy – Branch Sales Manager
Kyta Industries currently have a requirement for a Branch Sales Manager within the KYTA Industries Cape Town branch, whose responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
Responsibilities:
• Manage the overall performance of the sales team’s daily, weekly, monthly and annual performance against sales objectives and targets. Including Sales Persons, Technical Sales and Sales Administration.
• Effectively manage the Sales Department to guide, mentor and develop a team to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction and healthy integration with all other departments of KYTA.
• Ensure excellent customer relationships between KYTA and it’s customers based on effective communications, service delivery and especially managing customer expectations. Both directly with the customer and/or indirectly through the sales team.
• Active and direct involvement and Account Management of Key Branch and National accounts, including products, pricing, service deliveries and imported stock projections.
• Accurate reporting and forecasting demand of new and existing products, for stock and importation.
• Ensure you have a clear and comprehensive understanding of our clients business strategies and objectives.
• Create and ensure compliance to all sales practices for the branch and train new and existing team members in the role of selling and using sales techniques. This includes, but not limited to regular call cycles, technical sales, customer service objectives, negotiations and closing sales.
• To be a point of escalation for customer complaints and efficiently resolve complaints and issues, working with branch and national operations departments.
• Offer office and on-site support on key projects and their implementation in a store environment.
• Ensure Sales team conforms to KYTA’s customer service requirements on timelines on sales administration (including new product development, quotations and sales order creation)
• Develop and maintain a technical understanding of KYTA’s products and offerings as well as to train the sales team on these technical aspects.
• Create new products according to proactive and reactive customer requirements, in conjunction with KYTA’s design department.
• Review and develop further business opportunities for KYTA within new and existing clients.
• Evaluate and create relevant sales promotions specific to the branch requirement.
• Ensure promotion and compliance of the relevant sales cycles of the business.
• Prepare and maintain customer lists of the Branch and set sales targets and objectives to relevant customers.
• Ensure Sales Teams compliance to all company policies.
• Monitor and ensure project tracking and feedback to clients.
• Regularly stay up to date with Sales Trends and the Retail market.
• Monitor and stay current on competitors movements, motives and objectives in our industry.
Requirements and Qualifications:
• Matric Certificate
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies, Business Administration, Business Management, Commerce, Finance, Accountancy.
• Marketing or any related field
• 5+ years’ experience in a related field, in a business to business environment, along with 2+ years’ in managerial or supervisory position is also required
• Have good marketing skills and a general knowledge of sales techniques
• Possess strong Communication Skills both verbal and written.
• Good leadership skills and the ability to motivate and coach a team into achieving set goals.
• Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS PowerPoint.
• A strong and proven ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks, good decision-making skills and have a pleasant personality
• Be assertive and work well under pressure
• Excellent time management skills and Punctual & Organized
• Valid driver’s license
