Vacancy – Junior Project Manager
Kyta Industries currently have a requirement for a Junior Project Manager within the KYTA Industries Johannesburg Branch, whose responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain a good working relationship between KYTA and it’s clients to manage the relationship after the Order has been awarded to KYTA or at a sampling stage
• Create and process administration for the project and it’s sale.
• Outline the Scope of the Project and Critical path
• Create a project plan with isolated tasks and timelines (including obtaining budget from Estimating).
• Determine reporting requirement to internal and external stakeholders of the project and provide feedback as required, including project dependencies, risks and issues.
• Tracking the progress through design, sample, production and delivery (completion of the project) and provide reporting back to stakeholders (internal and external)
• Ensuring that clients understands and agreed to deadlines and dates of deliverables, both from client to KYTA and from KYTA to client
• Ensuring all timelines are met on deliverables, including Drawing packs, Pre-production samples, internal and external suppliers as well as production samples and final delivery
• Ensure project stays within budget
• Perform spot check on QC in production runs.
• Ensure a high quality standard is maintained on all orders
Requirements and Qualifications:
Minimum requirements/experience & Skills:
• 2+ years of project management experience, including tracking and planning projects in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in FMCG/Retail advertising and/or marketing preferable
• Experience in end to end delivery of small, medium & large scoped projects
• Experience in the implementation of project management methodologies
• High level of proficiency Microsoft office and Google suite: Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Project management software skills would be beneficial
• Ability to present to business stakeholders and demonstrated communication skills; both
• Written and oral with technical and non-technical staff, all levels of management
• Strong planning and organisation skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to build relationships through communication and collaboration.
Minimum qualifications:
• Diploma, Bachelor Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
