A new idea ✨🦋 / Clive wanted to throw these away! (These are actual, real butterflies!) 😳 there was no ways I was letting him do that! ✨Work In Progress… Beautiful Magnolias. ✨

An artist’s work is always evolving / Shaped by the life they are living, the places surrounding them, and the experiences changing them.

Since becoming a mother, I’ve felt another shift in my work. My marks have become looser, freer and less controlled. The canvases are larger, bolder, messier and more textured—layered in mixed media and acrylic.

Perhaps motherhood has taught me to release perfection and trust the process a little more. To embrace the beautiful chaos, follow instinct and allow the work to become what it needs to be.

This new body of work feels different, but it also feels completely honest, a reflection of who I am becoming.

Eight years ago, I created a collection of botanicals, birds and insects that became some of my most loved early works.

I’ve recently returned to my 2018 archive and, for the first time, selected a small number of these original artworks to be released as fine-art prints.
