It is often said that all good things must come to an end, and today we share the bittersweet news of the departure of Peter and Cindy Olivier of The Jewellers Workshop.

The Jewellers Workshop has been a valued tenant at Sandy Centre since October 2002, serving the Centre for almost 24 years. Over this time, Peter and Cindy have become an important part of our community and the rich history of Sandy Centre. They have witnessed the many changes, growth, and improvements of the Centre over the years, and their presence has been a constant throughout.

Peter and Cindy were far more than tenants, they became trusted friends, and to many, family. Some would even say they were the heart of the Centre, a familiar face, a steady presence, and deeply respected by all who knew them.

Their beautiful jewellery designs, exceptional workmanship, and professionalism as skilled goldsmiths and silversmiths have earned them an outstanding reputation throughout the industry. Their name has been spoken of fondly in many homes over the years.

I recall being in their shop when a granddaughter of one of their loyal customers came to collect a special piece of jewellery they had created. She shared a heartfelt story of how her grandmother had trusted them with her jewellery, then her mother, and now herself. This is a true testament not only to their craftsmanship, but to the lasting relationships they built through generations of families.

The Sandy Centre Management team, together with all the tenants, will miss Peter and Cindy dearly. We are sincerely grateful for their many years of dedication, friendship, loyalty, and the warmth they brought to our Centre.

We wish them both every happiness, good health, and success as they begin this exciting new chapter together.
