I designed the first Star Seat around 2012 when my oldest child Camran was 2 and youngest Craig barely a toddler. My idea was to take both kids on my bike to give my wife a break as I had become used to using a traditional seat to put Camran to sleep. I thought Camran would enjoy riding in front where we could interact while Craig could fall asleep at the back.
I didn't expect the Seat would become so popular, especially offroad, and offer cycling skills development benefits that was a huge bonus!
On Saturday my boys decided to participate in thd local Tour de Plett mtb race and I was stoked to meet few young parents taking part in the fun ride with their kids enjoying our product.
We are planning some upgrades but its great to experience the original design still going strong 12 years later 💪

We met Teddy Mudge and his son Charleton yesterday at
They came in first speeding over the finish line 😀
Obviously they had a great time!
Teddy told us that he went out in front on his ebike and while he always takes more care when he's riding with Charlton, the quicker riders were pushing him downhill so that he was getting air over jumps.

I told him that with the Star Seat the centre of gravity enables extreme riding and even wheelies, however this is not recommended. Safety is the responsibility of the rider.

The feva star seat benefits safety because it is so well balanced and enables bicycle control.

We saw a number of star seats being used yesterday, creating fun interaction and cycling skills development as intended that is very reassuring for us!
