I'm Mary May, the face behind the yarn and hook 😉 Since I was a young girl, I always knew I had a creative side, but I never truly found something I was passionate about, unit crochet. I began crocheting at the start of 2020 when the whole world went into lockdown. Like many of you, I too tried to find something to keep me sane through the trying times of the pandemic. I had always been interest
ed in knitting and unfortunately, I didn’t grow up around my grandmother, so it was always just a thought in the back of my mind. I decided I’d give knitting a try and after a few YouTube videos, I stumbled upon crochet. After I bought my first hook and crocheted my first scarf, I knew undoubtedly that I had finally found the artistic passion I’d been longing for. It’s been a beautiful journey of patience and adoration for handcrafted work. All my creations are handmade with love and the best intention. My goal is to show you how charming and versatile crochet can be and spread love and respect for handcrafted art pieces.
