The so-called 'Silly Season' is coming in fast. All the little get-togethers & staff functions & intimate family parties & so on and so forth. We all know how it goes. This year has gone by way too fast for me, but It is what it is & we go with the flow🎪

I've done atleast 5 Snack Plates in the past few weeks. It's cheaper & not as 'juj' as a platter, but trust me, just as yummy😋

Then again, if 'juj' is what you're looking for, then we've got that too.

We're not Halaal Certified, but if Halaal is what you need, I can make it happen cos I use reliable & quality Halaal suppliers.

If you're looking for Veg/Vegan, I'm 💯 with that too.

Today's been one of those days when I really miss Bubbles🫣

Random afternoon rush where I'm cooking, but the gas on my two plate is up, so now I'm using the little camper gas with only one cooker plate, while I'm frying samoosas & frying chips.

But I'm really grateful for those little bursts of hecticness, so Thank You💚

My Chicken Curry (on the bone) served with rice & salad is finally ready.

Truth be told, I wasn't 💯 happy with my spring rolls, so I've been testing pastries, even tried making my own but it needs work 😁

Finally, I think I'm now 💯. Even made extra for me today, cos let me tell you, those warm chicken spring rolls with a hot cup of mochachino just hit right in this weather.

My Boneless Beef Curry is simmering gently & it should be ready by 12h30. Served with rice and salad for R85.

Plus, with the weather forecasts for this weekend, I can see myself not waking up on time to be here at 9am, so I'm gonna open the shop at 10am tomorrow.

I'm also making butter chicken with rice tomorrow, as a thank you for a very good customer of mine that helps me out often. I might make extra incase any of my other customers are interested.

Ok, check out what I did today...kinda chuffed with myself 😁

The heat was way too much for me today so decided to distract from it. I saw this recipe & thought, that looks so good for the shop, I'm gonna try it.

I tweaked it , as I do, and I ended up with my version of Spicy Chicken Buns. Next I'm gonna do a vegetarian version once I figure out what filling I'm gonna use.

Who knew a desk jockey from Joburg, who hated being in the kitchen, now gets excited about trying out new recipes & runs a shop that makes & sells samoosas, savouries & meals...go figure.

Now, the only question is, do I sell these Heat & Eat or self bake???
