🐟 4 Fish Fillet Lunch Recipes with Side Dishes
Fresh, easy, and perfect for a homemade lunch.
1. Garlic Butter Fish Fillet with Rice and Broccoli
Ingredients:
• 4 fish fillets
• 2 cups cooked white rice
• 2 cups broccoli florets
• 3 tbsp butter
• 3 garlic cloves, minced
• Juice of 1/2 lemon
• Salt and black pepper
• Fresh parsley
Instructions:
Season the fish with salt and pepper.
Melt butter in a pan and sauté the garlic for a few seconds.
Add the fish fillets and cook for 3–4 minutes per side, until tender and flaky.
Add lemon juice and parsley.
Steam the broccoli until bright green.
Serve the fish with white rice and broccoli.
2. Lemon Herb Fish Fillet with Mashed Potatoes and Asparagus
Ingredients:
• 4 fish fillets
• 500 g potatoes
• 80 ml milk
• 2 tbsp butter
• 200 g asparagus
• 2 tbsp olive oil
• Juice of 1 lemon
• 2 garlic cloves, minced
• 1 tsp parsley or oregano
• Salt and black pepper
Instructions:
Boil the potatoes until soft, then mash with milk, butter, salt, and pepper.
Season the fish with olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, herbs, salt, and pepper.
Cook in a skillet until lightly golden and flaky.
Sauté the asparagus for 4–5 minutes.
Serve the fish with mashed potatoes and asparagus.
3. Crispy Fish Fillet with Roasted Potatoes and Salad
Ingredients:
• 4 fish fillets
• 500 g potatoes, cubed
• 1 cup breadcrumbs or panko
• 1 egg
• 1 tsp garlic powder
• 1 tsp paprika
• Salt and black pepper
• Lettuce, tomato, and cucumber
• 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions:
Season the potatoes with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Roast at 200°C / 400°F for 30–35 minutes.
Season the fish with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Dip the fish in beaten egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.
Bake at 200°C / 400°F for 18–20 minutes, or pan-fry until golden and crispy.
Serve with roasted potatoes and fresh salad.
4. Creamy Fish Fillet with Vegetables and Pasta
Ingredients:
• 4 fish fillets
• 200 g pasta
• 200 g mixed vegetables
• 180 ml heavy cream
• 40 g parmesan cheese
• 2 garlic cloves, minced
• 1 tbsp butter
• Salt and black pepper
• Fresh parsley
Instructions:
Cook the pasta until al dente and reserve a little pasta water.
Season the fish with salt and pepper, then cook in a pan until flaky. Remove and set aside.
In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic.
Add vegetables, heavy cream, and parmesan.
Mix in the pasta and add a little pasta water if needed.
Serve with the fish fillet on top and parsley.
