Michele is the owner of AFRIGEMS. Her love for Quartz Crystals / Mineral Specimens for Collectors and Semi-precious Gemstones started when she was collecting "gold" (which was actually Pyrite (Fools Gold)) growing up Welkom - a mining town in the Free State.
Since then, reading up on, and researching the properties of minerals and crystals; finding semi precious stones and how they are formed, became part of Michele's life.
Through the years she has collected some of the most interesting, beautiful and unusual South African species.
Visit the Afrigems stand to have a closer look at these beauties.
