🎣 The Ultimate Budget Weapon 💥 (R500 – R700 Range!)
Stop paying for a logo. If you want maximum performance per Rand—without spending a fortune—you need to feel the Jarvis Walker FST.
We’ve all been conditioned to think an affordable grinder in the R500 to R700 price bracket has to be made from plastic and disappointment. The FST shatters that theory completely:
• Full Aluminum Body: Zero flex when a proper winter Cob or Steenie leans into the current.
• Screw-In CNC Handle: No sloppy wobble—just direct, solid power.
• Built for SA Abuse: Handles salt and sand.
Pure metal and backbone where it actually matters, all sitting comfortably in your wallet's sweet spot.

⚙️ The Ultimate Setup
• Rod: 11ft to 13ft spinning rod (12ft is the sweet spot; Assassin ranges are local favorites for distance and backbone).
• Reel: 4000–6000 sealed saltwater spinner
• Line:13-Strand Braid, Boem Vas for unmatched smoothness, zero-stretch sensitivity, and brute strength.
🐟 The Lure & Terminal Choice
• The Weapon:Boem Vas 13cm 17.8g Scented & Salted Paddletail. The added salt and scent make fish hold on longer in turbid Eastern Cape water, giving you time to set the hook.
• The Jighead:Heavy Boem Vas Jighead, engineered to punch through side-wash and get your presentation down fast.
🎯 The "Bank-to-Deep" Tactic
1. The Cast: Aim for the shallow water on top of the sandbank where waves first break.
2. The Retrieve: Slowly wind across the top, mimicking a disoriented baitfish washed off the bank.
3. The Drop: Let your lure tumble and glide down the edge into the deep channel.
4. The Strike: Kabeljou sit at the base waiting to ambush—strikes happen instantly as it drops into this kill zone!
