Absolutely amazing news to hear the Algoa Rally Club are going to be part of an international series. We really look forward to seeing how this developed going forward. The Algoa Rally is going to be amazing.

🌍 Africa joins the TER family! 🇿🇦

After a 2025 as a TER Candidate Event, the Algoa Rally in South Africa officially enters the 2026 TER Series, the World Series of TER calendar.

The event takes place in the Gqeberha area (ex Port Elizabeth), a major seaport and the largest city in South Africa's Eastern Cape province, with a rich history in the South African National Rally Championship since 1983 – inaugural win by Sarel van der Merwe and Franz Boshoff in an Audi Quattro S1.

In 2026, Algoa Rally will join the confirmed Otago Rally in New Zealand (April opener, 3rd year) and Rally Terra Sarda in Italy (October finale, 4th year). Scheduled for July 9-11, 2026.
