✨ I'm delighted to be part of the next Pink Lounge gathering ~ an evening of connection, creativity, and self-discovery in the company of inspiring women. The initiative of the fabulous

I'll be facilitating a gentle, hands-on painting experience where we'll explore colour, creativity, and self-expression as a way of releasing what no longer serves us. No artistic experience is needed ~ this is about the process, not perfection. Just come as you are and allow yourself the space to create, reflect, and connect.

Alongside the creative session, you'll also experience a powerful limiting beliefs reframing exercise facilitated by Rose Cowpar.

Today I’m choosing rest ~ not as something I “get to” when everything else is done, but as a way of taking care of myself now, so I can keep showing up fully later 🤍

Learning to pause, slow my pace, and honour what my body + heart actually need has been such a lesson lately. Rest isn’t selfish… it’s fuel.

Sometimes the most productive thing we can do is P A U S E.

It feels like a good time to reintroduce myself…

I’m Carryn, the heart behind Cupboard Love ~ a creative journey that’s been unfolding for over 15 years. What began as a small local shop has grown and changed with me over the years ~ evolving into a space where I blend my love for styling, curating, slow retail, local artistry, and meaningful connection.

I’m so excited to share that I’ll be curating and managing The Emporium space at Marktfees 2025 ~ a beautiful celebration of local craftsmanship and creativity, featuring talented makers and soulful products from across South Africa.

This project feels like a natural extension of all that I love: thoughtful design, community, and stories told through objects and experiences.

Marktfees will also mark the quiet beginning of a new chapter for me and my business: a rebrand that’s been gently taking shape behind the scenes. It’s a more holistic direction that brings together everything I’ve learned and lived… rooted in purpose, creativity, and conscious living.

I can’t wait to share more soon, but for now, I’m just grateful to be creating again, in spaces that feel intentional, connected, and alive with possibility.

✨ A little update from me ✨

It’s been a while since I’ve shared here ~
and in that time, life has taken me on quite a journey. Through seasons of change, loss, and renewal, I’ve found myself coming back to what I truly love… curating, creating, and connecting through beautiful, meaningful things.

Cupboard Love has always been about stories ... the ones behind the pieces we find, the ones we live, and the ones we share. As I’ve evolved, so too has this space. I’ve been quietly working behind the scenes, reimagining what Cupboard Love can become ~ a blend of art, creativity, sustainability, and soulful living.

This next chapter is all about slowing down, creating with intention, and curating things that inspire a deeper connection ~ to ourselves, to others, and to the world around us.

Thank you to everyone who’s been part of this journey so far… I’m so excited for what’s ahead 🌿
