It is extremely frustrating and honestly very sad that we have to post this warning again, but please be careful.

Scammers are STILL fraudulently using the Magical Micro Farm name and our farm address to advertise puppies for sale. We have just been contacted by another person who was approached by these scammers.

Please be aware:

❌ We do NOT breed or sell dogs or puppies.
❌ We have absolutely no connection to anyone advertising puppies.
❌ Do NOT send them any money or pay a deposit.

Magical Micro Farm is a chilli farm. We grow chillies and produce our own range of chilli products. 🌶️

When it’s germination season and you casually turn the house into a second sunset… 🌅🌶️😂

Apparently, having the entire room glowing red like we’re conducting secret experiments is “a bit much.” 🤣

My wife is obviously not quite as excited about my indoor chilli nursery as I am, but I keep reminding her: “It’s only 4 weeks a year!” 😇

Thousands of little chilli seeds need warmth, light and a little bit of madness before they’re ready for the greenhouse. 🌱🌶️🔥

Our irrigation system is completely gravity fed, running from an elevated water tank through a 50 mm mainline, six independently controlled growing blocks and hundreds of individual drippers.

In our latest video, we walk through the whole system, explain the numbers behind it, and show what we're changing for the 2026/27 season, including our plans to add Venturi fertigation. 🌶️

🌱🌶️ FARM UPDATE | 28 AUGUST 2026 🌶️🌱

Things are starting to get seriously exciting at Magical Micro Farm! The farm is turning green again and the 2026/27 chilli season is officially getting underway! 🔥

In our latest farm update:

🌿 Cover crops are thriving and getting the soil ready for the season ahead.
🌸 We’re planning our new pollinator beds for the bees and beneficial insects.
💧 Two new growing blocks are getting irrigation.
🌱 Our chilli seedlings are germinating and starting to pop up in the greenhouse.
🏡 And we’ve got some exciting plans for the net house this season.

Winter is finally starting to loosen its grip here in Potchefstroom, and things are moving quickly now! 😁

🌱🌶️ FARM UPDATE... SLIGHTLY DELAYED BY MAN FLU 🤧😂

We had big plans to share a proper farm update AND our “How We Do Germination” video with you this weekend...

Unfortunately, man flu had other plans. And as everyone knows, this is obviously a very serious condition. 😂🤒

BUT... there’s been plenty happening at Magical Micro Farm!

We got a LOT done yesterday and made some seriously exciting progress. 🌱🔥 The purchased seedlings are settling into the greenhouse, growing areas are being cleaned up and prepared, and most importantly... our first round of seeds for the 2026/27 season is officially in germination! 🌱🌶️

The weather, however, seems to have absolutely no idea what season it is. 😂

We’re already seeing greenhouse temperatures peak at a ridiculous 44°C during the day 🥵☀️, while overnight temperatures are still dropping below 10°C. Not exactly ideal growing conditions, but it definitely feels like we’re finally heading towards summer!

For now, it’s all about managing those massive temperature swings while getting everything ready for the warmer nights ahead.

🌱🌶️ IT’S FINALLY GERMINATION TIME! 🌶️🌱

Potchefstroom winters are cold, dry and loooong... but the weather outlook has finally given us the green light to get our 2026/27 season started! 🙌

Although, apparently we’ve decided to skip spring completely and go straight into summer. 😂 We recorded a whopping 44°C in the greenhouse today! 🥵🔥

The seeds are being soaked tonight and germination officially starts tomorrow. 🌱 We’ll be filming the process and sharing a video over the weekend showing exactly how we do our chilli germination at Magical Micro Farm.
