Frau Schmitt - a smart shopping assistant for all those who are entrusted with the support and care of seniors and beloved family members.

The idea for creating a delivery service tailored for the elderly with restricted mobility, and living in care facilities, started in 2019. The outbreak of COVID19 at the beginning of 2020 magnified the lack of services for senior citizens and gave us the final nudge to develop a specialised online shop. It is no longer only age- or illness-related causes that prevent seniors from going about their usual shopping routines, but the fear of contracting a lethal virus and government-imposed health & safety measures that limit their independence. Relatives who previously supported their parents and grandparents with their daily needs items have to think twice about whether a visit won’t cause more harm than joy. The same considerations apply to nurses and caregivers who look after those residents whose relatives are unable take care of their private needs due to time constraints and geographical handicaps. These circumstances gave rise to Frau Schmitt, a smart shopping assistant for the elderly and anyone entrusted with their care. Frau Schmitt reliably covers all drugstore needs and ensures a smooth procurement process for care facilities and retirement villages. The shopping experience is simple and fully transparent, offering bulk payment by credit card, debit order or EFT with individual billing per resident. All orders are individually packed with love and tagged for easy and efficient distribution to the residents. Free up some much-needed time for more quality care and try out the “Frau Schmitt” experience today!
