Super Galaxy. IC1101.
Speaking about big things in the Universe, lets check what is supposed to be the more massive galaxy, IC 1101.
With its 6 million light-years in diameter (🤯 context: Milky Way has "just" 100.000 light-years in diameter) this absurdly huge system of stars has the top position in the ranking.
If our galaxy were to be replaced with this super-giant, it would swallow up both Magellanic clouds, the Andromeda galaxy, the Triangulum galaxy, and almost all the space in between.
It is placed at 1k millions light-years from Earth, at Virgo Constellation ✨
