Hi, I’m Liselle 🤍

I’m the artist behind Atelier Liselle — Gilded by Faith and Gold.

For those who are new here, I’m a watercolour artist with a deep love for painting people. There is something incredibly special about taking a photograph and slowly bringing that person to life on paper — not only trying to capture what they look like, but something of who they are. 🎨

Over time, portrait painting has become such a beautiful part of my art journey.

Every face has a story.
Every person carries something unique.
And every portrait I paint feels personal.

In this little video, I’m sharing some of the beautiful faces I’ve had the privilege of painting through my recent commissions. 🤍

Some were created as gifts.
Some hold precious memories.
Some celebrate the people we love.

And that is probably what I love most about portrait art — long after a moment has passed, the painting remains. ✨

This is exactly what Paint Your Promise is all about. 🤍🎨

This beautiful piece was created from a promise that God had given this lady — something deeply personal that she has carried in her heart.

She shared her story and her promise with me, and from there I had the privilege of praying, listening and creating a painting that would become a visual reminder of what God had spoken over her life.

And I think that is what I love most about these commissions…

It’s not just about painting a beautiful picture.

It’s about taking something that may have lived in your heart for years —
a prophetic word,
a Scripture,
a promise,
a moment with God,
or something you are still trusting Him for —

…and giving it a visual story. ✨

Something you can look at and remember:

God spoke.
I haven’t forgotten.
And I’m still holding onto His promise. 🤍

Every name on that guest list represents someone who has chosen to come and experience the stories, the art and the heart behind Atelier Liselle — and that means more to me than you know.

And now… the real preparing begins! 🎨🕯️✨

Paintings are being created.
Stories are taking shape.

✨ A little Atelier update… Workshops are back! 🎨🤍

This past weekend I had the privilege of doing a beautiful watercolour workshop for one of our Atelier family members at her stork tea — and what a special, blessed morning it was.

But this one was about so much more than simply sitting together and painting. 🌸

Each guest painted something with meaning and intention for little Haily, creating individual pieces that will eventually become part of her nursery.

I’m busy preparing everything now, and I honestly cannot wait to see all those little paintings together in Haily’s room — knowing that every piece was painted by someone who already loves her. 🥹🤍

And it reminded me again why I love doing these workshops.

Atelier workshops are not just about painting.
They’re about painting with meaning.
Creating together.
Celebrating someone.
And leaving behind a memory that lasts long after the day is over.

So I just wanted to let my Atelier family know that I’ve started offering workshops again. 🤍

✨ MY FINAL WOMEN’S MONTH SPECIAL ✨

There are some paintings that are more than something beautiful to hang on a wall.
They carry a message for the heart.

“He Holds the Broken Pieces” is about the gentle hands of Jesus — holding what feels fragile, wounded or broken, and reminding us that nothing placed in His hands is beyond restoration. 🤍

This is a one-of-a-kind original artwork, lovingly hand-painted with prayer, purpose and meaning.
