Join us for an exciting Art Exhibition: Bronze Sculptures by Annemie Odendaal: "The Games People Play"
18-28 March

I am delighted to invite you and your friends to the solo art exhibition of my new series: "The Games People Play".

In this series of bronze sculptures, I use the ancient and enduring medium of bronze, a material traditionally used to commemorate heroes, gods and historical moments through it’s permanence. Although it seems very whimsical on the surface, it explores the intricate and often manipulative nature that define our social interactions.

Gold:
The gilded towers, the golden sand tones of the limestone buildings and the steel construction of the Eiffel Tower, as well as the vibrant colours of the falling autumn leaves. 🍂

I have always loved the art of origami. Once I arrived in Paris, I folded a new origami rabbit, and aptly called her Lapine (French for Rabbit).⁠🐰

I then carried her with me and photographing her in various Parisian settings, investigating my surroundings from a new perspective while exploring Paris.⁠
⁠
This lead to a series of gorgeous photogpraphs capturing the spirit of Paris.⁠
⁠
