HSE HSE provides Engineering Graphics and Design (EGD) books and instruments to learners from Grade 8 to Grade 12, and to University students.

Johan Engelbrecht, educator and writer, formed HSE in 1999 to provide schools and universities with quality, curriculum based Engineering Graphic and Design learning material.We are well position to provide EGD educational materials to learning institutions in South Africa as is evident from our 15 year track record of precision and practical work material to more than 200 learning institutions in South Africa, totalling more than 10 000 learners.

It is with great sadness that we announce Johan Engelbrecht's passing on 19 July 2024. Johan started HSE CC in 2001 and made an enormous contribution to the development of the business. His family, friends, and colleagues will dearly miss him.

Though we are saddened by his passing, it will be business as usual at HSE. The HSE team will keep offering the same high standard, quality products, and service to our loyal clients in honour of his name.
