Want your goats to kid within a more manageable period instead of having kids arriving randomly for months? 📅🐐
Here’s a practical breeding strategy many goat farmers use 👇🏽

1️⃣ SEPARATE THE BUCK 🐐🚧

Take the buck away from the does for about 21–28 days.
Keep him properly separated—not right next to the does where there is constant nose-to-nose contact through the fence.
The goal is to give the does a genuine break before reintroducing the buck.

2️⃣ GET YOUR DOES IN GOOD CONDITION 🌱💪🏽

A buck cannot fix poor nutrition.
Before breeding, make sure your does have: ✅ Good body condition
✅ Adequate feed and clean water 💧
✅ Proper mineral supplementation
✅ Good general health 🩺
✅ Enough time to recover from previous kidding
Healthy does generally give you a much better foundation for a successful breeding season.
