Our platters have become very popular, and although we usually let you build your own, here are some quick order options.

Please note that we require at minimum one days notice, and some items are subject to availability and will be substituted at discretion unless requested prior by the customer.

Catering for Success 👨‍🍳

A Mother Goose's and Damian Honneysett collaboration!

In the kitchen we have not yet turned down a challenge, one we can cater for at least 😜.

We usually do the deli styled platters for corporate functions which have become popular, but this time we were put to the challenge, to cook for a 90th birthday party! A very special occasion that would host a whole family and by no means could we let this opportunity go, but we had to make sure that it was a memorable experience, through each bite, because as they say, some of the best experiences are made with food, and everyone remembers a good or bad food experience.

So with our amazing staff in the kitchen and the assistance of Damian we will pulled it off, and this is definitely something that we will be kicking off at Mother Goose! So give us a call and we will see how we can cater for your event! Most importantly, all of our ingredients are locally sourced!

We served:

Starters: "Out of this world" cheese platters, which you can purchase some of these amazing cheeses from our shop: Bush Hill Cheese. I am not going to bore you with the long list of items presented on the platter, but it was a lot! As well as cocktail samosas and mini pies.

Mains: Roast Chicken, Roast Beef, Roast Lamb, and Roast Gammon (Some of which you can buy in store: & Dargle Valley Deli with luxurious salads

Dessert/Tea: Mother Goose Famous Scones with Strawberry Jam and Cream

*Some boards, bowls and platters to serve on were provided by the family, however we have these awesome, biodegradable pressed palm leaf platters and bowls (see cheese platter) which work amazingly well and are very sturdy (they can even go in the freezer or oven) and you can chuck them in the compost pile afterwards.
