Exploration. 🐞 📚

Yesterday was a day of exploring nature (and exercising the dogs) and some gardening. Today we are literally blown off our feet and I shall have to stick to my books. Obviously the hat can only be worn INSIDE, because it won’t stay ON TOP outside.

Some research to be done for tomorrow’s rugby as well: I am not so knowledgeable about all the rules (and stuff 🤭), but I am learning. Springboks against the All Blacks! 😳 The dogs will need extreme exercise before the game to handle their human dad’s stress. 🏉

I have to admit that I prefer precision. Rainbows 🌈 look beautiful, but I would never find the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. 🤭

Do you still do handwritten notes? “Think” should look handwritten and this is not a new idea, but VERY effective advertising in my opinion. Also, I still love Parker pens.

Selling a pen is a classic interview scenario. What do you think about how these creatives handled it?

What began as one designer's spontaneous spec advert concept sparked a viral creative challenge over on LinkedIn. Over 300 ideas came in, reframing the humble pen as an anti-AI tool. Newell Brands, the owner of Parker, took note and offered gifts as prizes. The winning idea reduced the concept down to a single word cleverly presented.
