This weekend, 5 June 2026, we headed out in search of some beautiful carp while testing a few new baits and rigs from Pounder Pro Baits. 🎣

We never expected the nights to be so cold, but the carp kept us busy from start to finish. Every reel run made the freezing temperatures worth it, and every minute on the bank was one to remember.

New baits, new rigs, tough conditions, and quality fish — that's what it's all about! 💪🐟

A tough long weekend on the water, but that’s fishing! 🎣 The bite was incredibly slow, but managed to land a few carp in the dark and early morning hours.
Huge thanks to Pounder Pro Baits for keeping me in the game when the conditions were against us. 👊 Sometimes the fish need to win to make us sharper. Taking the lessons learned and heading back soon with my A-game.
