Its been an extra busy day for SAM today! While Sr Jean took care of Monday's field work, Colleen conscripted some help and the two of them started with the allocation of 30 heavy rubber kennels - and the two of them got 29 of them out today👏🏼🥳💪🏻🐾!!

The last one is waiting for collection by a kind person who has seen a dog in Karatara that is badly in need of shelter.

When Colleen collected the last four kennels for allocation this afternoon, she said she was hurting in muscles she didn't know she had🤣. What a remarkable woman she is.

Rubber kennels are allocated to sterilised animals only, and remain the property of Sedgefield Animal Matters. They are re-allocated if the original pet no longer needs it, or if the pet owner is found to be abusing or neglecting his/her pet (the pet will then also be removed with the assistance of Law Enforcement).

There is a list of animals currently waiting for kennels. SAM unfortunately cannot guarantee that any particular animal will get a kennel. They are purchased as funds allow.

At last, our order of rubber kennels is here and ready for allocation to animals in need who are sterilised.

Once again a sincere Thank You to Sedgefield Towing and Recovery for bringing them from PE for us🐾😀.

Bennie, from Sedgefield Towing and Recovery was here at 08h30 sharp to drop off. We also had muscle in the form of Rafael Anderson, Rimban and Laphael. Those kennels are HEAVY!!

Made from recycled rubber conveyor Belting, they are allocated to sterilised animals that have no shelter, and re-allocated should that animal pass on or no longer need it. The kennels remain the property of Sedgefield Animal Matters.
