During Heritage Month in September, South Africans celebrate the diverse cultures, traditions, and histories that make our country unique. A key part of this heritage is language, which allows people to express their identity and preserve their culture. Reading plays an important role by sharing stories, poems, and traditions in different languages, helping future generations learn about and appreciate South Africa’s rich heritage.

We hope you enjoyed our live readings in different languages this week! If you’d like to see more, we’d love to hear from you. Drop a comment below and let us know what you’d like to see on our future live sessions, or tell us which authors, languages, or stories you’d love us to feature next.
