Today, the women of Studio 47 stand together with women across South Africa.

We wear black in mourning for the lives stolen by gender-based violence and femicide. We stand in solidarity with the victims, survivors and families who have been left behind.

No woman should have to live in fear. No family should have to bury another daughter, mother, sister or friend because of violence.

We remember. We stand together. We demand change.
